About Me

Hello! My name is Cristina Lopez S. I was born & raised in the Atlanta, Georgia area. But I’m descendants from Brazil & Peru on my mothers side and Barbados on my fathers side. I’ve been dancing since I was 3 yrs old and trained in ballet, hip hop, tap, and jazz; and slightly dabbled in gymnastics. Then at 12 years old I fell in love with MIC DROP by BTS and this ignited my love for KPOP. I started taking K-POP classes for a while then the pandemic hit and all classes were cancelled. This inspired me to start the KPOP Dance Academy that I owned so I could share my love for K-POP with like minded people. Throughout the journey of my dance academy, education was always a priority so I graduated a year early with Principal Honor Roll from Fulton Science Academy. While going to college at GSU the opportunity of a lifetime came, America2Korea JYP x Republic Records survival tv show, which took me on a 2 year long journey as we recorded the episodes in ATL, LA, and South Korea. I’m now offering private dance and performance lessons again, so I can share my knowledge and training with you one-on-one, instead of full group classes.!
